Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service and may include your device's IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of visit, time spent on pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When you access the Service via a mobile device, we may collect the device type, unique mobile ID, IP address, mobile operating system, mobile browser type and other diagnostic data.

When you voluntarily send us electronic mail / fillup the form, we will keep a record of this information so that we can respond to you. We only collect information from you when you register on our site or fill out a form. Also, when filling out a form on our site, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address or phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously. In case you have submitted your personal information and contact details, we reserve the rights to Call, SMS, Email or WhatsApp about our products and offers, even if your number has DND activated on it.

Location

SafeObuddy App collects location to identify nearby locks and for vehicle tracking even when the app is closed. This data is never used for advertising.

Profile images you upload are stored securely and accessible only to you and authorized personnel.

Device ID

With your consent, we may collect device IDs to uniquely identify your device for authentication and security.

File Storage Access

Any granted access is limited to the designated files used for profile management.

• To contact you by email, phone, SMS or push notifications about updates, security and service-related communications.

Google Places

Returns information about places using HTTP requests, operated by Google. May collect information from you and your device for security purposes, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Our Service may contain links to other websites we do not operate. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content or privacy policies of any third-party sites.

When any SafeObuddy mobile app is installed, a list of permissions appears that are required for the app to function effectively. The permissions are:

Access Network State

Required to know whether the user has an active network connection and to notify when the app cannot reach the server.

Access Coarse Location

Helps identify the rough location of the customer.

Bluetooth Permissions

Needed to open the smart lock near the vehicle.

System Alert Window

Allows critical notifications to float over other apps for emergency alerts.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Data, we will delete it from our servers immediately.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We will also notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service prior to material changes becoming effective. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
